Master Joel Nkrumah, a pupil in Year 7 of our school has won a medal for being the second speller out of 383 spellers (for vocabulary).

UN Model Contest: MARCEL JOHANSON, 8th Grade Student of Angels Specialist School International topped the UN Model Contest. Marcel flew to New York in March, 2012 for the Global Contest.

ANGELS SCHOOL 8TH GRADE STUDENT, JESSICA PENU, WON THE NATIONAL SPELLING BEE CHAMPION FOR 2011: Jessica flew to Washington D. C in the United States of America to contest for the world Wide Scripps Spelling Bee. Not only did she contest for herself, family, friends, school and the nation, she also contested for the whole of Africa. She was the only contestant from Africa.

TV3 TALENTED KIDS SHOW: Four pupils of the school qualified for the national Talented Children's Competition.

JESSICA PENU AND NANA KOFI ANSAH BAFFOUR (EIGHTH GRADE) WON THE REGIONAL SPELLING BEE CONTEST: Eight other contestants qualified for the National Spelling Bee Contest held in Accra.

ANGELS CHILDREN'S ART IN GERMANY: Angels School participated in the Kofi and Ama Project. This project was founded in Germany some years in a town called Weinheirm, near Frankfurt. This project has already organized three exhibitions of paintings done by the students of ASSI and their counterparts in a school in Weinheirm. The motto of "Kofi and Ama": is "My friends and I" we play together and share the world". From the beginning on, the project received wide support from people from all walks of life. The wife of the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mrs. Herzog, actually purchased a painting by one of our students in ASSI. The idea of this invitation is to bring children from different continents together so they can discover their disparities but at the same moment what they have in common.

AWARDED THE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE OF PLATINUM LEAGUE SCHOOLS: Ayikoo Foundation in Collaboration with the Ghana Education Service awarded the school, among 39 others, nationwide the "Ayikoo Award" for our performance in 2005/2006 B. E. C. E. performance.

14TH BEST NATION WIDE B. E. C. E.: Out of 40,000 (forty thousand) basic schools, Angels School placed 14th in the National Basic Education Certificate Examination.

3Rd BEST IN B. E. C. E. out of over 200 basic schools in the entire Tema Municipality, our school came third in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B. E. C. E.).

UNESCO SURVEY: Interview with expecting mothers by personnel of UNESCO revealed . Angels School was their choice.
